At Oak Park Children’s Centre, we are proud to offer a Bush Kinder program for our kindergarten children.
We recognise that children living in the inner-suburbs, like Oak Park, may not have the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors. Research demonstrates this leads to the early onset of mental health problems in children as young as 3, including anxiety. Children’s behaviour is also significantly impacted as we are spending more time indoors than previous generations.
At Oak Park Children’s Centre, we understand the benefits of connecting with nature and how this will support children’s learning. Children will have the opportunity to explore, connect and learn with nature every week.

This is such a lovely, family-operated centre. Both of my children love going here and absolutely adore all of the staff. The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and accommodating and greet us with such warmth every time we walk in. I definitely recommend this centre.
